Fauci And Cheney In Danger Of Losing Pardons

Anthony Fauci and former Rep. Liz Cheney (R- WY) may be in danger of getting their pardons revoked following reports on former President Joe Biden’s presidency.
Biden’s tenure as president was characterized by accusations that he may not be running his administration due to his declining mental state. The rumor of his mental state did not stop the administration from signing a preemptive pardon for Fauci and members of the January 6 House Select Committee.
Reports emerged last week, raising questions about whether Biden signed the pardons himself.
A recent revelation from the Oversight Project, part of the conservative Heritage Foundation, alleges that numerous documents signed by Biden during his tenure were executed using an autopen—a device that replicates signatures. This revelation has led to questions about who was making key decisions during Biden’s presidency.
“Whoever controlled the autopen controlled the presidency,” the Oversight Project wrote in an X post. “We gathered every document we could find with Biden’s signature over the course of his presidency. All used the same autopen signature except for the announcement that the former President was dropping out of the race last year.”
The report highlights two documents—one from August 2022 and another from December 2024—that purportedly bear identical autopen-generated signatures. Additionally, the Oversight Project shared an image of Biden’s signature from when he announced his withdrawal from the presidential race, which appears to show slight variations compared to the other documents.
The use of an autopen by U.S. presidents is not unprecedented; however, the extent of its use during Biden’s administration has raised concerns. Critics argue that if Biden was unaware of the documents being signed in his name, it could imply that unelected officials were making significant decisions without his direct approval. Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has called for the Department of Justice to investigate whether Biden’s cognitive state allowed staff to implement policies without his informed consent. citeturn0news19
In light of these developments, discussions have emerged regarding the legitimacy of actions taken during Biden’s presidency, including the preemptive pardon he issued to Fauci on January 20, 2025. This pardon was intended to protect Fauci from potential prosecutions by the incoming administration.
However, legal experts assert that once a presidential pardon is finalized, it cannot be revoked. The U.S. Constitution grants the president broad pardoning powers, and there is no legal mechanism to undo a pardon once it has been issued.
Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey wrote a letter to the Justice Department demanding an investigation. Bailey urged the DOJ to investigate whether Biden’s declining mental state allowed an unelected official to make decisions without his knowledge.
Should the investigation confirm Bailey’s fears, Fauci and Cheney’s pardons could be rescinded.
Hunter Biden is, however, safe as the report showed Joe Biden signed his son’s pardon by hand.
