Former Democrat Megadonor Blast Walz, Kamala Harris Caught In Fire

Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) official Lindy Li criticized Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Monday after he claimed that he and former Vice President Kamala Harris were overly guarded during their presidential campaign.
Walz told Politico that he and Harris were playing things safe during the election which was why he and Harris didn’t do many interviews.
Li, while speaking on News Max’s “Wake Up America,” blasted Walz’s claim. The former DNC said Harris and Walz ran away from interviews because they were both terrible at it.
“I met Tim Walz on a number of occasions and obviously I’ve spent extensive time with Kamala Harris. The reason why they were hiding from the media is because she sucks at it,” Li said. “I’m sorry that I’m not putting it more eloquently but she was just terrible. They were both terrible. And they put out Tim Walz. I don’t know who thought he was a good idea.”
During his campaign, Walz faced criticism for repeatedly making inaccurate claims about his past, including assertions that he was in Hong Kong during the 1989 pro-democracy protests at Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Li slammed the Harris campaign for considering Walz as a running mate.
“He turned out to be a pathological liar,” she continued. “Who could possibly think it would be a good idea to lie about being in Tiananmen Square when you were in Nebraska? I mean, come on. It’s just so beyond the pale,” Li added. And now he’s thinking about running for president? Didn’t he get the memo that the American people do not want a second coming of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz?”
Li has been critical of Harris and Walz since losing the 2024 election to President Donald Trump. She blasted Harris for not taking responsibility for the campaign’s wasteful spending.
“She actually held two calls, one for her top donors and one for grassroots. I was speaking and texting with fellow attendees in the call, and we were amazed by how self-congratulatory the tone was …. The call was about 20, 30 minutes,” Li said of a call Harris had with her donors after the election. “I don’t recall anyone taking responsibility for the fact that we spent about $2 billion across the super PAC and the campaign and came up so significantly short. We lost seven swing states. I’m just, frankly, stunned that there was no sort of post-mortem or an analysis of how we can do better, what sort of lessons were learned. It was really just patting each other on the back, congratulating each other on I’m not sure what. And saying, ‘We’ll see you for Christmas.’”
