Trump’s ICE Crackdown Targets Iranian Sleeper Cells

In a time of escalating global tensions, President Donald Trump’s administration is taking bold steps to protect American soil. A recent wave of arrests has spotlighted the urgent need for vigilance against potential threats lurking within our borders. The actions underscore a commitment to national security that resonates deeply with patriotic Americans.

Summary

  • ICE arrests 15 Iranians, including a former army sniper and a Hezbollah-linked suspect, in a sweeping operation.
  • Trump warns of sleeper cells, highlighting Iran’s threats following U.S. strikes on its nuclear sites.
  • Operation targets illegal immigrants, with 1,500 Iranians entering the U.S. during the Biden administration.
  • Ceasefire holds, but concerns persist about Iran’s potential retaliation through covert operatives.
  • DHS proactive, with arrests reflecting Trump’s mandate to secure the homeland.

Swift Action Against Threats

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), under President Trump’s leadership, launched a robust operation to apprehend 15 Iranian nationals illegally in the U.S., including a former Iranian army sniper and an individual with ties to Hezbollah, a known terrorist organization.

“We don’t wait until a military operation to execute; we proactively deliver on President Trump’s mandate to secure the homeland,” a DHS official stated.

These arrests, conducted over a 48-hour period starting Sunday, June 22, 2025, targeted individuals across eight states, including Colorado, Mississippi, and Texas.

Iran’s Ominous Warning

The operation follows Iran’s chilling threat to activate sleeper cells in the U.S. in retaliation for American strikes on its nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Delivered through an intermediary at the G7 summit in Canada, Iran’s message warned of terror attacks if the U.S. intervened in its conflict with Israel. President Trump, undeterred, authorized the strikes, which he hailed as “a spectacular military success.” He later warned, “And among everything else, (Biden) let in a lot of super cells, many from Iran,” emphasizing the border security failures of the previous administration.

Border Crisis Legacy

The arrests highlight a broader issue: at least 1,500 Iranians entered the U.S. illegally during the Biden years, a vulnerability now being addressed. Among those detained, Yousef Mehridehno, stripped of residency in 2017 for visa fraud, and Behzad Sepehrian Bahary Nejad, armed with a 9mm pistol, exemplify the risks.

“Biden’s border crisis likely fueled Iranian sleeper threats in the U.S.,” warned a former ICE chief.

Securing America First

As a ceasefire between Iran and Israel holds, the Trump administration remains vigilant. The FBI is “closely watching” for sleeper agents, and DHS continues its crackdown. This decisive action reflects conservative values of prioritizing national security and upholding law and order, ensuring America remains safe from foreign threats.
