Teleprompter Glitch Shakes Celeb’s Endorsement Of Harris

Rapper Cardi B faced an unexpected hiccup during a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Wisconsin when a teleprompter malfunction briefly interrupted her speech.

“One second, guys, one second,” Cardi said, addressing the crowd at the rally on Nov. 1.

“I’m a little nervous, guys! I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” she said further, going ahead to call for her assistant, saying: “I need Patience over here. Patience, where are you, girl?”

She would later read her speech from a cell phone handed to her, endorsing Harris and claiming that she was motivated to get involved in the election after Harris replaced President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket.

Cardi’s political critiques have been as sharp as her lyrics. In a viral 2023 video, she slammed Biden for his handling of the Ukraine War, the crisis in Israel following the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack, and budget cuts in New York City.

“In New York, there is a $120 million budget cut,” she vented, listing its impact on schools, libraries, and even sanitation.

“Bitch, we are going to be drowning in fucking rats,” she added.

Cardi also made it clear back then that she would no longer be endorsing Biden, as she expressed disapproval of the current administration’s choice to fund international wars.

That wasn’t her first jab at Biden, as she took to Twitter to express concerns about the economy back in 2022. “When y’all think they going to announce that we going into a recession?” she quipped.

The rapper’s recent show of support for Harris comes as the RealClearPolling gives Harris a slim lead over former President Donald Trump in Wisconsin, a crucial swing state. However, in six of the last eight polls, Trump was shown either ahead of Kamala in the swing state or locked in a tie with her.
