A New York state campaign consultant for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent presidential campaign says her main goal is defeating President Joe Biden and to help ensure that he does not win re-election in November.

Rita Palma made this remark in a meeting with Empire State Republicans. She revealed that efforts to put Kennedy on the ballot in New York would help eliminate Biden and make it easier for former president Donald Trump to win the Democratic state.

“The only way that Trump can remotely take New York is if Bobby is on the ballot. If it’s Trump vs. Biden, Biden wins. Biden wins six days, seven days a week. With Bobby in the mix, anything can happen,” Palma said. “Whether you support Bobby or Trump, we all oppose Biden. And my thoughts are that’s the number one priority in the country. I’m going to vote for Bobby.”

Palma continued, saying that although she was against Biden, she was not worried about Trump winning a second term.

“However, if I wake up on Nov. 6, and Trump wins, I’m not going to be overly upset,” she said. “But if Biden wins, we’re all going to be upset because he’s ruining America. And the people that control him are ruining our country.”

Palma’s comments come after the Biden campaign had maintained that Kennedy’s campaign was a spoiler that would eventually help Trump at the polls in November.

In a video that went viral through X, Palma revealed her strategy, which states that Republicans in solidly blue states should vote for Kennedy. 

Palma claims that if some Democrats did the same, Biden could lose enough votes to give Trump the final victory.

In the same video, Palma mentioned that the Biden-Harris campaign was actively working to prevent any independent presidential campaigns. 

This proves that Biden was worried that Kennedy could attract enough votes to make a difference.
