Musk’s Stunning Allegation 

On July 8, 2025, billionaire Elon Musk ignited controversy by claiming on X that former Trump advisor Steve Bannon is implicated in the Jeffrey Epstein files. 

Responding to a post by Trump ally Roger Stone, Musk wrote, “Bannon is in the Epstein files.” 

The accusation, made without evidence, follows Musk’s June claim that Trump himself is in the files, which he later deleted. 

Stone’s post questioned Bannon’s meetings with Epstein in New York and Paris after Epstein’s 2008 crime conviction, citing a 2024 Business Insider article. 

“Why would Bannon meet with Jeffrey Epstein both at his New York home and in Paris after Epstein was convicted on sex crimes in Florida?” Stone wondered on X.  “Why would he coach Epstein for his 60 minutes appearance?”
