With the midterm election drawing near, Elon Musk revealed a clever plan on how he plans to stop Trump’s MAGA agenda and sabotage the GOP’s slim congressional majority.
“One way to execute on this would be to laser-focus on just 2 or 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House districts,” Musk wrote on X. “Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people.”

Republicans hold a slim majority in the House and Senate, with 53 of 100 Senate seats and 220 of 435 House seats, compared to Democrats’ 212 House seats. However, three House seats remain vacant due to deaths of some lawmakers.

Trump Fires Back

President Trump didn’t hold back, labeling Musk’s party “ridiculous” and a “train wreck” on Truth Social. 

“He even wants to start a Third Political Party, despite the fact that they have never succeeded in the United States – The System seems not designed for them,” Trump posted, emphasizing the unlikelihood of Musk’s venture succeeding. 

The president’s allies have rallied, with some, like venture capitalist James Fishback, taking drastic steps. Fishback, whose Azoria 500 ETF avoids DEI-focused companies, announced on X he’s withdrawing support for Tesla, citing Musk’s political shift as a betrayal of conservative values.
