Kash Patel’s FBI Makes Huge Arrest

The Justice Department announced the indictments of three men in connection to a clandestine move to sell U.S. secrets to foreign enemies.

According to a statement put out by the Justice Department,  Jian Zhao and Li Tian—both active-duty U.S. Army soldiers stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord—along with former soldier Ruoyu Duan, were arrested today following federal grand jury indictments in two districts.

In the District of Oregon, Tian and Duan face charges of conspiracy to commit bribery and theft of government property.

The indictment against Tian and Duan alleges that they, along with other unnamed accomplices, conspired to covertly collect sensitive military information regarding the U.S. Army’s operational capabilities. This included technical manuals and other classified materials. According to the charges, Tian provided this information to Duan in exchange for money. The indictment claimed Tian was responsible for gathering intelligence on U.S. military weapon systems, including details about the Bradley and Stryker Army fighting vehicles, and transmitting it to Duan.

Meanwhile, Zhao was indicted in the Western District of Washington on charges of conspiring to obtain and transmit national defense information to an unauthorized recipient, as well as bribery and theft of government property.

Zhao has been charged with conspiring to collect and transmit multiple classified hard drives, including those labeled “SECRET” and “TOP SECRET.” He is accused of negotiating their sale with individuals based in China and agreeing to send the classified materials overseas. In return, Zhao allegedly received at least $10,000.

Zhao is also accused of conspiring to sell a stolen encryption-capable computer belonging to the U.S. government, as well as sensitive military documents and information. This included details on the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and assessments of U.S. military readiness in the event of a conflict with China.

Prosecutors allege that Zhao violated his duties as a U.S. Army soldier and public official by exchanging classified information for financial gain. In total, he is believed to have corruptly received at least $15,000 in payments.

“While bribery and corruption have thrived under China’s Communist Party, this behavior cannot be tolerated with our service members who are entrusted with sensitive military information, including national defense information,” said FBI Director Kash Pate. “The FBI and our partners will continue to work to uncover attempts by those in China to steal sensitive U.S. military information and hold all accountable who play a role in betraying our national defense.

U.S. Attorney General Pamela J. Bondi echoed Patel’s sentiments, adding that all involved in the treasonous scheme will face the full wrought of justice.

“The defendants arrested today are accused of betraying our country, actively working to weaken America’s defense capabilities and empowering our adversaries in China,” Bondi said “They will face swift, severe, and comprehensive justice.”

The indictments come just days after The Red Archives dropped the bombshell report that some deep state agents are considering selling classified information to hostile nations like China.
