Fani Willis’ Favorite Tactic Used Against Her

Former President Donald Trump’s co-defendant in Georgia’s election case announced on Monday that he would be taking legal action against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, citing alleged racism.

Trump’s co-defendant, Harrison Floyd, accused Willis of racism in a statement posted on X.

“While my skin is also black, DA Willis identifies me as white and views me as a defender of white supremacists due to my political beliefs,” Floyd said in the video. “Deep down, she wants to make me pay for what she feels is a betrayal of black culture. Her words and actions consistently demonstrate hate for white people and need to make this case about race.”

Floyd added that he would be filing an equal protection claim against Willis, adding that the district attorney’s background and beliefs are influenced by radical, progressive ideology and racism.

“The truth is simple and, quite frankly, sad,” Floyd added. “DA Willis is blinded by her upbringing, which was deeply rooted in radical, progressive ideology and racism. She has no problem weaponizing her skin or office to further its aims.”

Reports claim that on Jan. 8, attorneys for former Trump campaign aide Michael Roman filed a motion for Willis’s disqualification over her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, raising impropriety questions.

Roman’s accusations came when appointments were made for the 2020 election interference case.

Willis, however, denied the allegations while playing the race card.

“They only attacked one. First thing they say, ‘Oh, she’s gonna play the race card now,” she said. “But no, God, isn’t it them that’s playing the race card when they only question one? They constantly think I need someone from another jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing for almost 30 years.”

According to Fox News, Willis also claimed that allegations of improper relationship accusations are based on race. Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee, who handled the case, ruled not to disqualify Willis over the allegations.

Instead, McAfee ordered either Willis or Wade to step down from the case over the appearance of impropriety.
