Organizers of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) found themselves in hot water following their latest dishonest stunt. 

The DNC concluded its convention in Chicago on Thursday night. The convention saw various Democratic leaders, including former President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, speak at the event. 

However, the organizers deceived Americans with a glaring false promise. Prior to the conclusion of the event, organizers had promised that famous singer and multiple award winner Beyonce would perform at the event. The event concluded without the singer making an appearance. 

The DNC’s latest deception was an attempt to get Americans to stay glued to their TV and watch the mostly boring convention. 

Reports suggest that the DNC had no plans to bring Beyonce to the event. There was also no attempt by the organizers to contract the singer to attend the convention. 

Multiple news outlets carried reports of the DNC’s deception, with TMZ reporting that several sources within the DNC said that the singer would perform live at the convention. 

“Beyoncé Performing at DNC’s Final Night!!!” a TMZ headline reads. 

Many of the DNC’s media allies pushed the deception, with MSNBC’s Katie Phang claiming that Beyonce was in the building. 

”Hearing that @Beyonce has arrived at the United Center!” Phang wrote on X.

Social media reacted furiously to the DNC’s lie, with one user noting that the organizers lied to get people to listen to Harris’ DNC speech. 

“Random thought. Kamala’s team really set us up. They leaked that Beyonce would be at the DNC convention,  so we could watch the entirety of it and watch Kamala accept her nomination,” the user wrote on X. 

Conservative blogger and author Katie Pavlich expressed her anger on X, saying, “Hearing lots of ‘But where is Beyoncé ?!’ leaving the DNC.” 

“After watching the #DNC2024 #DNCConvention Thursday, and hearing Kamala Harris speak, my thoughts are… Where was Beyoncé?” another user wrote on X. “Democrats said Beyoncé and/or Taylor Swift would be at the #DNC, disappointing conclusion after being teased with promises of quality entertainment. #Fail.”

“F***ing liars,” another commented. “All over the news today they said there is going to be a special guest, Probably Beyonce or Taylor Swift….. They lied to get people to watch…. Just proves they lie about everything… scumbags.”
