Democrats Are Hypocrites And They Just Proved It
Financial filings reveal that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) funded President Joe Biden’s $1.5 million legal fees related to the controversy involving classified documents.
Despite the DNC persistent criticism of former President Donald Trump for his use of campaign funds for legal bills, the payments have been made.
The DNC gave $1.05 million to Bob Bauer PLLC, Biden’s lead attorney’s professional limited liability business, between July 2023 and February 2024.
The majority of those expenditures went toward managing the special counsel investigation, which included hiring seasoned attorney David Laufman.
Laufmam was formerly in charge of the politically charged investigations into Russian electoral meddling in the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton’s email server.
In January 2023, Special Counsel Robert Hur began looking into Biden for allegedly mishandling confidential documents. During Biden’s interview with Hur, Biden had at least seven instances of mental errors and poor memory. The investigation was however completed in February.
Although it revealed that Biden had willfully kept classified documents, no criminal charges were brought against him due to insufficient evidence.
Hur described Biden’s recall as that of an elderly man. In a related document case, Biden’s Justice Department filed an indictment against Trump.
On June 8, 2023, Special Counsel Jack Smith brought the second indictment against Trump, the same day that serious accusations concerning Biden and his son Hunter were made public.
Nine weeks after Biden’s justice department indicted Trump in the case involving the sensitive documents, a prominent member of Smith’s team met with a representative of Biden’s counsel’s office.
Smith’s case was rescheduled from May to now without a trial date. Trump desires that the trial take place following the election. Smith proposed holding the trial in July.
According to a recent Harvard Caps/Harris poll, most people stated they would support Trump over Biden if a jury finds the former president guilty in the documents case.
