Border Czar’s Revelation Rails Social Media

A humanitarian crisis left unaddressed for years is finally seeing action. Under new leadership, federal agents are uncovering shocking truths about vulnerable children lost in a broken system, sparking hope but also outrage over past failures.

Summary

  • Border Czar Tom Homan reports rescuing 10,000 missing migrant children.
  • Over 300,000 unaccompanied minors went missing under Biden’s administration.
  • ICE raided a California marijuana facility, finding eight unaccompanied minors.
  • Homan criticizes media silence on the child trafficking crisis.
  • Efforts continue to locate and protect remaining missing children.

A Crisis Ignored No Longer

Border Czar Tom Homan, appointed by President Donald Trump, announced on Friday that federal authorities have rescued approximately 10,000 unaccompanied migrant children who went missing during the Biden administration. Speaking on “Fox & Friends,” Homan revealed the staggering scale of the crisis, noting that over 300,000 children vanished after crossing the U.S.-Mexico border without proper oversight.

“We are looking for over 300,000 missing children. We’ve already found around 10,000, have you heard that anywhere? No, because the media’s simply not covering it,” Homan said, slamming the lack of attention to this humanitarian disaster. His comments underscore a renewed focus on border security and child welfare under the Trump administration, contrasting sharply with what conservatives see as the previous administration’s negligence.

Raids Uncover Harsh Realities

A recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid on a marijuana facility in Camarillo, California, highlighted the dire circumstances these children face. On July 10, 2025, ICE agents, supported by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Rodney Scott, encountered eight unaccompanied minors and two other juveniles being exploited as underage workers.

“These are those children that have disappeared,” said former Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino on “The Ingraham Angle,” linking the rescued minors to the broader crisis of 300,000 unaccounted-for children. The raid faced resistance, with federal agents using tear gas and smoke bombs to disperse protesters, some of whom threw rocks and fireworks, escalating tensions. Homan emphasized the non-partisan nature of the issue, stating, “Rescuing children, I mean, that should be a non-partisan issue.”

Biden’s Policies Under Fire

The scale of the missing children crisis stems from policies under the Biden administration, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General report from August 2024. It found that 291,000 unaccompanied minors received no court notices after illegally crossing the border, and ICE lost track of over 32,000 children released from custody since 2019. Homan accused the Biden team of failing to vet sponsors properly, with only one-third of children reunited with parents, while others were placed in unsuitable homes.

“Putting optics over safety has led to countless children in danger or unaccounted for,” said Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) to the New York Post, calling it a defining failure of the Biden-Harris administration. Conservatives argue these lapses enabled cartels to exploit vulnerable minors, fueling trafficking and forced labor.

Homan’s Mission and Media Silence

Homan, a former ICE director known for his tough stance on immigration, has made rescuing these children a top priority. His emotional accounts of trafficked minors, including a pregnant 14-year-old girl rescued from prostitution, highlight the urgency.

“We are taking care of her. Both physically and mentally,” Homan told podcaster Shawn Ryan in May 2025, emphasizing ICE’s compassion despite media portrayals. Yet, he expressed frustration at the lack of coverage, noting on X, “We’ve already found 10,000. Have you heard that anywhere else? No.” Posts on X echoed this sentiment, with users like @SeaKelp1776 asking, “HOW IS THIS NOT HEADLINE NEWS AROUND THE WORLD?!” Homan’s partnership with Goya Cares and journalist Sara Carter aims to reunite more children with families, with Carter stating, “These children are going to find their way back to safety because Tom Homan is leading that effort.”

A Call for Accountability

The rescue of 10,000 children is a significant step, but with nearly 290,000 still missing, Homan’s mission is far from over. President Trump has vowed continued operations, telling reporters, “We have a lot more planned to recover thousands more children.” Conservatives see this as a testament to strong leadership, contrasting Biden’s open-border policies with Trump’s focus on law enforcement and child protection. “Every illegal alien public safety threat we arrest makes this country safer,” Homan said, urging unity on this critical issue.
