Joe Biden Throws Kamala Harris Under The Bus, TWICE!!!

The relationship between Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden may be hitting the rocks after the president appeared to have thrown his VP under the bus.

According to The Red Archives, Harris slammed Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis for allegedly politicizing the pending hurricane bearing down on Florida’s west coast. Harris claimed DeSantis had refused to take her call when she called him.

Harris accused Desantis of playing politics while adding that the GOP governor’s action was “selfish” and “irresponsible.”

Shortly after making her claims, Biden released a statement where he revealed that he was working with DeSantis.

“Tonight, I spoke with Florida Governor DeSantis and Tampa Mayor Castor for firsthand reports on Hurricane Helene recovery and preparations for Hurricane Milton,” the president wrote. “My Administration is ready to support both leaders and the people of Florida with any further resources they may need.”

Harris appeared on The View on Tuesday, where she further accused DeSantis of politicizing Hurricane Milton. Just as she was making her appearance on the show, Biden praised DeSantis over their collaboration as they prepare for the category-five hurricane.

“The governor of Florida has been cooperative. He said he’s gotten all that he needs. I talked to him again yesterday, and I said, ‘You’re doing a great job. It’s being all being done. We thank you for it. And I literally gave him my personal phone number to call.”

Contrary to Harris’ claim, Biden insisted that DeSantis has been fully cooperative and supportive.

“There was a rough start in some places, but every governor — every governor — from Florida to North Carolina has been fully cooperative and supportive and acknowledged what this team is doing, and they’re doing an incredible job. But we got a lot more work to do,” Biden added.

DeSantis Has also come out to defend himself against Harris’ accusation. The governor told a press conference on Monday evening that he had no idea that Harris called him. The governor also accused Harris of trying to politicize the Hurricane, adding that she had not contacted him in any of the previous hurricanes in her three and half years as vice president.

“She’s been vice president for three and a half years. I’ve dealt with a number of storms under this administration,” the GOP governor said. “She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts. And so what I think is selfish is her trying to blunder into this. She has no role in this process.”
