Tucker Carlson Sparks Drama- Popular Senator Underfire
News of President Donald Trump’s running mate took a dramatic turn after former Fox News host Tucker Carlson made a major revelation.
As reported by The Red Archives, Trump picked Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate. The news brought joy to the hearts of many Republicans, who saw Vance as the ideal candidate. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was among those Republicans.
The GOP senator posted a picture of him and Vance on X alongside a statement on his approval.
“Senator @JDVance1has one of the most compelling stories in American politics, overcoming so much adversity in life,” Graham wrote on X. “He understands the struggles of working Americans, as he has walked in their shoes and has become one of their best champions. Bright, articulate, and a Marine veteran, he will serve President Trump well on the campaign trail.”
Graham, who insisted that Republicans must win in November, noted that Vance is a hard worker with a beautiful family. The South Carolina lawmaker added that Vance would be a great spokesperson for the America First agenda.
“This is a clear choice for America,” Graham’s statement concluded.
Carlson, however, believes Graham’s statements hid his true intentions. The former Fox News host labeled Graham a liar who did not want Vance to be Trump’s running mate.
“Lindsey Graham is a liar,” Carlson wrote. “No one lobbied harder against JD Vance than he did, and in the sleaziest, most vicious way. He was doing it this morning. This is why everyone hates Washington, because people like Lindsey Graham are happy to lie right to your face, smiling as they plot your destruction. It’s disgusting.”
Famous Trump loyalist Roger Stone echoed Carlson’s sentiments. Stone revealed that Graham had promoted Sens. Tim Scott (R-SC) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) as Trump’s running mate. He also noted that Graham “vigorously opposed Vance.
“Totally disingenuous. Lindsey Graham promoted Tim Scott then he promoted Marco Rubio and internally he vigorously opposed the selection of JD Vance. Fortunately, the president did the right thing,” Stone wrote.
