On Sunday, April 7, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known professionally as Lady Gaga was spotted with what appears to be a large diamond ring on her left ring finger, sparking rumors that she’s engaged to boyfriend Michael Polansky.

Polansky is a Harvard-graduated tech entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist. He also serves as the executive director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. 

The engagement rumors emerged less than two weeks after the singer took to social media and expressed gratitude for her recent personal and professional successes. 

“I am in love with my best friend; my family and friends are loving and kind and healthy. I feel like my heart is bursting with gratitude for my health and MUSIC,” Gaga wrote via Instagram.

However, Lady Gaga has not officially addressed the engagement rumors.

According to various entertainment news outlets, the couple was first linked in 2020 when they were spotted by the paparazzi kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. Shortly after, they made their relationship Instagram official after packing on the PDA at the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami.

According to the outlets, the couple reportedly broke up in March 2023 over differences in marriage and children. They got back together in October 2023 when they were spotted on two concert date nights in Las Vegas.

Although Gaga appears to be keeping her relationship out of the spotlight recently, she previously insisted that doesn’t mean it’s any less significant to her.

“I may not be sharing as much of myself online as I have in the past,” she wrote. “But I hope you know this time to myself has been extremely healing and recharging for my heart, mind, body, and creativity—to create within myself and to have a personal life that’s just for me.”

A trusted entertainment news outlet confirms that Gaga was previously engaged to talent agent Christian Carino. The pair confirmed their relationship in 2017 and announced they had ended their engagement in 2019.

The “Born This Way” singer was formerly engaged to longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney in 2011. After five years together, the couple split up in July 2016.
