Activists and Illegal Immigrants’ Actions Raise Fears
Jason Rantz, a radio host in Seattle, warned viewers on Thursday while on Fox News about the consequences of illegal immigrants taking over one of the democrat city’s community centers.
Rantz made an appearance on the show to discuss the report on how dozens of illegal immigrants and local activists have taken over one recreation area at a community center and public schools in Seattle.
According to multiple sources, the activists set up food and supplies for the immigrants and asked the community for donations of tents and other camping gear. Last Wednesday, the activists claimed that an anonymous donor bought the group of illegal immigrants sixty-one hotel rooms for eleven days.
The group of illegal immigrants had been seen in tents on the tennis court after being evicted from a hotel Tuesday in Kent, Washington, a few miles away from Seattle.
Fox anchor Sean Hannity questioned Rantz about the local issue. He was asked if he thought the 11 days would resolve the issue.
“They’ve been pretty clear – the group of activists that represent the migrants are saying, ‘If you do not give us money, we will be taking over the Seattle park,” he said. “And what has been missed in the story, which I think is incredibly important, is that they are not even living in Seattle. They live in other cities and came to Seattle because they perceive Seattle as having an endless bank account they can pull money from.”
Rantz further explained that the situation might become similar in 2020 when protesters took over a section of Seattle’s East Precinct and declared it a no-cop zone. This event was known as the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP).
“I fear it will become CHOP 2.0 if the city doesn’t get it together and start to push back aggressively and say, ‘We’re not going to be okay with it this time. We know you’re coming – we’re not okay – either stay in Kent, where they currently are or come to the table,” he said. “Go to the Democrats, who have been telling you to come into this country illegally, and let them figure this out because, at the end of the day, we do not need another giant encampment like this.”
Daily Caller reports that although the immigrants have returned to the Kent hotel, one of them revealed that the group intends to meet with the mayor of Kent to discuss potential housing choices once their 11-day stay is up.
